Kano Government Urged To Establish Forest Marshals
The Kano State Government has been advised to establish forest marshals across the state to prevent the influx of bandits and kidnappers into the forests surrounding the state.
Detective Auwalu Bala Durumin Iya, a security expert and Head of Intelligence and Investigation of the Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano, gave the advice while speaking on Freedom Radio’s Barka Da Hantsi, which Daily Trust monitored.
He said the state government and the general public should work against the security challenges facing the state before it goes out of hand.
He added that only forest marshals can address that.
