How ISWAP Fighters Ambushed Soldiers, Mission To Secure Politicians in Borno

Dozen of suspected (ISWAP) ambushed nigeria army convoy's along Gubio Damasa high ways road in Maiduguri borno state on Saturday.

Unspecified numbers of soldiesa are  sustaining injuries in the attacked, while the utility vehicle belonging to Nigeria army were taking away by Iswap.

Most of the soldiers are ran in to the ambush in karo traveled to Gubio in Borno state to pick APC Members for there word congress billed to Damasak.

Karo is the hometown of Bukar Gana Karo, who's represent/ kukawa, Abadam, Mubbar federal constituency of the house of representative.

Kareto has been abandoned for many years due to the result of the Boko Haram/ Iswap.

The soldiers were suppose to accompany the politician in Abadam to Damasak venue of their word congress.

Although Abadan local government has been a no go area since 2014, politician from Local government were mobilized for Congress in Damasak. But the incidence  did not allow them to attend the Congress meeting as their returning from Gubio.
