Student Broad As Federal Governmen Meet ASUU On Monday Over Planned For Fresh Strike.

The Government And the University Lecturer had been Fighting over payments salary flat platforms.

The students who spoke on media said the propose fresh strike being planned by ASUU to protests the government for in fulfilled the promised.

 The minister of labour and employment Crist Ngige has invited the leadership of the union to another meeting in other to avoid the looming  industrial dispute in the universities.

The spokeman of the ministry, Chals Akpan in a telephone interview with our corespondant, disclosed that the meeting has been scheduled to hold on Monday at the ministries headquarters in abuja.

He noted that the meeting will commence by 2:pm.

According to him; the ASUU the delegation will be lead by the President, Prof. Emanuel Osodeke.

The government and the Universities lecturers had been fighting over the  over the appropriate payment of the salary platforms to use for the universities lecturers.

 The last  9 month; old strike  was suspended after certain agreement  were reached both parties.

But ASSU now accusing the FG for violating agreement it reached the with the Union before they called off their strike December 24, 2020.

Reacting to the latest development? A student one of the universities bayaro, Kano, Hassan Aminu appeal to the federal government  to resolve the issue of the controversial for IPPIS Platforms with the lecturers.

Another one of the student, Saidat Akande a master degree student in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, wandering why the government could not make the universities free from crisis.

What does the government want to gain in throwing Nigerian universities unnecessary strike.

Settle these lecturers once and let's move on. In fact we a tired of this issue of strike.

Another one of the student of Obafemi Awalowo University  Osun State, Lukman Olaliken in a telephone said, advise the government to ensure universities in our country remains independent.
