The New Appointed DCP Tunji Disu For Interlligense Response Team (IRT)

 

Usman Baba, Has appointed the Tunji Disu a Deputy Commissioner of Police to replace suspended head of the police head of the police Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kyari. Mr Kyari was suspended by the police authority after his indictment by the US for his received $1.1  fraud by Ramon Abbass, popularly know as Hushipupi.

Kyari Denied the allegations.

Kyari was suspended by the police service commission on the on the recommendation by Inspector General of police.

The police said, Mr kyari suspension was to allow an independed investigation charge against him.

On Monday, the police spokesman, frank mba, said in a statements that the police chief aproved Mr Dasu appointment on Monday with the directive that, he should resume work with immediately effect and refucos of better units service delivery.

The inspector General of police, Usman Alkali Baba today 2 August 2021. Approved the posting of DCP Tunji Disu as the new head of Police Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

The posting of the officer  is on the heels of the managements discission to fill the leadership gap within the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) and refucus the units for better service delivery, said by Mr Mba.

The statements said, the Inspector General of Police charge Mr Disu to demonstrate his professional competency in his leadership of the Units.

He also assured citizens that the IRT will remains focused in discharge of its duty  in line with national statues and international best practice.
